Super Soft Blanket
I bought the Hopscotch blanket for my own baby who is now 22! It was the softest thing I'd ever felt and wore extremely well, so we just bought one for our niece who's having her first. It is not as soft coming right out of the package, but it's beautifully made and we hope once it's washed it will soften up just like our original.
Fabulous Hopscotch Blanket
I do not have enough accolades for your Hopscotch baby blanket -- five stars are not sufficient. I have been giving this blanket as a baby-shower gift for decades. I recently got a note from some friends whom I had given the blanket for the birth of their son, who is now four. They said now that the nights and mornings are getting cooler, their son and his younger sister love snuggling under the blanket together, and fortunately, have not yet had any battles over who actually owns it.

This is the third or fourth baby blanket I have ordered and given as a gift. I always order the Starry Nights as it's gender- and decor-neutral, esp for any parents who prefer to avoid pink or blue. The latest version in white was given to a young couple who live outside Milano, Italy and whose home is all white & very contemporary. It was a perfect match. My only request from the wonderful textile makers at B&M is to PLEASE make Starry Nights in the natural color again. That blanket is a 100% huge hit w all parents!!

Eighteen years ago when my son was born his grandfather gave him a checkmate baby blanket. It became the proverbial blankie for him and after 6 years of constant use it got a little rageddy. When his baby brother was born we gave him the same blanket as a comfort gift and he loved it. Guess what he asked for as a going away to college gift? Another (bigger) blanket from Brahms Mount!
